ARPI is a member of NARF, a Norwegian organization that issues authorizations to companies and individuals providing accounting services. According to the requirements of the Norwegian legal regulations, accounting services may be rendered solely by companies and individuals holding a licence issued by NARF. It implies the requirement of documenting by employees of the associate institutions or private individuals of a minimum 3-year university education (faculty: accounting, tax law, economics, enterprise administration) and a minimum 2-year professional practice within the recent 5 years. Thus, NARF maintains appropriate quality standards and guarantees top competences and skills of its associate members.

To maintain their authorizations in force members of NARF are required to update on a continual basis and extend their knowledge within accounting, participate in further supplementary training sessions, and obtain the latest certificates and licenses.
